The Gemini is a cru and reserve wine crafted from the estate’s finest vineyard parcels planted in 1993 and harvested by hand in early October. Fermented and aged in truncated conical vats, it undergoes alcoholic and malolactic fermentation followed by extended maturation of no less than 36 months. In the glass, it shows a deep, luminous ruby color with an intense bouquet of ripe fruit, marasca cherry, dried tobacco, and sweet spice. The palate is velvety and structured, with long, polished tannins balanced by vibrant acidity and a juicy, mineral-driven finish. Powerful yet elegant, this expressive wine pairs beautifully with red meats, game, aged cheeses, and traditional Tuscan dishes, and is equally suited for contemplative drinking.
