This Rotwein Cuvée, a certified organic, German red, is pale ruby in color. On the nose, it is perfumed with wild strawberries, cherries, blackberries, gentle herbs, spice, and minerals. Its zippy acidity and smooth tannins meet the red fruit with a touch of minerality. It is to be enjoyed young and with a slight chill, preferably paired with duck in a light sauce, roast chicken, cheese, or grilled vegetables.
