The grapes spent an average of 10 days on the skins before completing fermentation and aging in neutral French oak. The wine then rested on fine lees for 9 months prior to bottling, remaining unfined and unfiltered throughout. This is a remarkably clean and approachable orange wine, it is more elegant than funky. Aromas of wild strawberries and rose petals rise from the glass, leading to a juicy, fruit-forward palate with a supple texture and medium finish. Beautifully balanced, it strikes a graceful middle ground between tangy and soft. Gentle tannins are present but tucked behind vibrant fruit, making this an easy-drinking, crowd-pleasing expression of skin-contact winemaking.
