Mother Rock Wines practices organic farming techniques with minimal intervention. All grapes were handpicked in the early morning during cooler weather, placed into lug boxes (smaller quantities mean reduced compaction and damage to the fruit), and then moved to cellar. Grapes are whole-bunch pressed, with no crushing, and slowly pressed before fermentation occurs in old French oak. The finished wine matures for seven months on the gross lees, after which it is blended and bottled without fining or filtering. This is a beautifully pure rosé, with characteristic strawberry notes and hints of sweet spices. The palate has refreshing acidity and good length; versatile and food friendly.
