Ferñao Pires grapes were hand-harvested, crushed and fermented in 300L anforas coated with natural pine resin. The Síria grapes, also harvested, were gently crushed and pressed off their skins, which were reserved, and fermentation began in stainless steel tanks with indigenous yeasts. The reserved Síria skins were then combined with the Ferñao Pires must in anforas, where fermentation continued with indigenous yeasts and 60 days of skin maceration. Afterward, the wines were blended and matured in stainless steel for two years, with no fining or filtration and minimal sulfite additions. The result is a beautifully textured and expressive orange wine with a pale gold hue. Aromas of tangerine, orange, wet stone, white pepper, cinnamon and walnuts emerge from the glass. On the palate, it is fresh and nutty, with subtle spice and flavors of tangerine, marmalade, and citrus peel. Structurally, the wine is juicy and linear, finishing with a clean, saline note.
