The color of this white wine out of Roero is deep straw yellow with greenish highlights. On the nose, it is fresh, delicate, and inviting, with distinct hints of chamomile and white-fleshed fruit, well blended together, and with clear reference to the typical aromas of the arneis grape. On the palate, it is soft and intense, with a slight bitter vein that gives freshness and persistence. This is an excellent accompaniment to typical Piedmontese hors d'oeuvres, including those based on white meats; it also pairs nicely with fish and light first courses with vegetable-based sauces.
