This cuvée ferments in tronconic oak vats with a 10-day maceration, then ages for a year in large foudres. The nose is warmly ripe with subtle earthy tones, while the palate starts out silky before its mineral core comes forward. Pepper, iron, and faint barnyard notes create a deep, savory profile, supported by earthy tones and flashes of red fruit. It finishes with a refined, lightly gripping tannin structure that ties everything together. Pairs well with meat dishes.
