This wine is made from 100% Moscatel de Alejandría, sourced from the family’s vines, which are approximately 70 years old, densely planted on granitic clay loam soils, and completely unirrigated. The winemaking follows traditional methods: grapes are destemmed and left to macerate on their skins during a roughly two-week fermentation in stainless steel tanks. After gentle pressing, the wine is allowed to settle on its gross lees for 40 days, then ages in tank for 11 months before bottling. Typical of the varietal, it shows honeyed grape and tropical fruit aromas, yet it drinks clean, fresh, and fun. It’s vibrant and approachable, with a lively, expressive character.
