Château Les Vieilles Pierres Lussac-Saint-Émilion 2014

Using conventional farming practices, the grapes for this Lussac-Saint-Émilion are hand-harvested separately for a careful selection of the fruit. The wine is fermented, then aged in cement vats with no oak aging. The results are plump notes of black and red fruit, with a hint of smoke and herbs. The merlot provides a lovely, round texture, and the cabernet franc provides structure and minerality. A full-throttle, Right Bank value.
