The pinot gris grapes are sourced from Sierra Madre Vineyard and the pinot blanc grapes are sourced from the Bien Nacido Vineyard, both located in the Santa Maria Valley. The fruit is hand-harvested, whole-cluster pressed and barrel fermented in mostly neutral French oak. The result is a wine that drinks like a chardonnay, with biscuity and sourdough notes. Serve with lobster and brown butter and a cream sauce.
