This elegant red wine is crafted soft pressing, controlled fermentation in steel, and a 12-day maceration on the skins. The wine is then matured partly in barrique for six months, with the rest aging in stainless steel at a controlled temperature before blending. It undergoes an additional four months of bottle aging to refine its character. In the glass, it shows a deep ruby-purple hue with intense reflections. The nose opens with fresh vegetable notes, followed by rich aromas of black cherry, wild berries, and finishing touches of spice and black pepper. On the palate, it’s soft and enveloping, with a refined tannic structure and a smooth, elegant finish. A versatile pairing wine, it complements cured meats, aged cheeses, hearty Italian pasta dishes, grilled meats, and traditional polenta.
