The cru of San Martino enjoys southeast facing exposure and runs from 450 to 580 meters above sea level. The grapes get a majority of their sun in the morning and are shaded from the heat of the day in the afternoon. The soil is slightly chalkier than in Prey, giving this wine a touch more elegance and approachability. Fermentation and aging are done exclusively in stainless steel.
